A Greenery filled Devonshire Terrace Wedding
Jew-ish Devonshire Terrace Wedding with the most gorgeous styling
Devonshire Terrace Wedding // Jamie and James are one stylish couple and I am so thrilled to be able to share some of my fave wedding images with you today.
Devonshire Terrace is a wedding venue that I have wanted to shoot at for a while and it did not disappoint! It is an absolutely stunning backdrop for a wedding . The Gherkin looming over their Chuppah was really so stunning! Any Devonshire Terrace Wedding is gonna have the wow factor with it’s scale, pleasing geometry and its London Look. Jamie and James really took it up a level by employing the most perfect wedding stylists to make it an oasis of greenery in the heart of the city.
“We love Jordanna’s photos! From the outset we started to look for a photographer to capture the real moments and minimise cheesy photos as much as possible. It was important to for us to find a documentary photographer than a ‘wedding’ photographer – Jordanna was perfect.”
Jamie & James
Devonshire Terrace Wedding – what made the couple choose it?
We wanted a city wedding and Devonshire Terrace was perfect space for an outside (but covered) city landscape. It really has the wow factor and what with my family coming over from America it had to be reasonably warm! We chose lots of greenery instead of flowers to add an architectural cool.
The Jew-ish Ceremony
The ceremony was kept very informal and short and sweet. I have Jewish heritage so we gave a nod to that with the Chuppah and the smashing of the glass. We are not people that enjoy being the centre of attention so we go for a traditional aisle and I was very happy to be escorted in by both my parents.
Wedded Wisdom
If you have more than 50 guests, hire a wedding planner if only to organise just the day. Its so worth it!
