Wilton’s Music Hall Wedding

'We really loved Jordanna's unique, quirky and colourful style - she documented our day perfectly in a really raw and emotional, yet non-pretentious/staged way.'

A flower filled Wilton’s Music Hall Wedding for Tabasum & James

Wilton’s Music Hall Wedding // I was thrilled when Tabasum asked me to be her wedding photographer for their Wilton’s Music Hall Wedding. It is such a truly beautiful venue in the kind of faded grandeur way that I love. It’s crumbling walls and uneven, Victorian floors and staircases add so much character and makes Wilton’s such a joy to shoot in. Tabasum & James really went to town on decorating Wilton’s with cinematic references on the tables and table plans and masses of flowers supplied by the awesome Augustus Bloom. Wilton’s looked very glam but in a gorgeous undone way which suited the venue perfectly.

Tabasum looked every inch a cool, modern bride choosing a really unique dress by Australian designer, Karren Willis Holmes.

The thing I probably love about Wilton’s most of all is how the building is gorgeous but so unassuming from outslde, is cavernous inside but somehow feels so intimate. Tabasum & James made it feel more intimate by filling the room with candles. Music from a pianist and quartet throughout the day gave a real atmosphere of a bygone era. However all that was to change when the groom took to the decks for the rave style party at the end of the night – which went down a storm.

Anyway you’ll see how glamorous this day was for yoursleves. (Once I stop waffling!) Tabasum and James you were a lovely couple to get to know. James your speech will stay with me for a long time and Tabasum so will your dad’s dance moves 😀

ABOUT WILTONS MUSIC HALL WEDDING VENUE

Wilton’s Music Hall is a jaw-droppingly gorgeous venue situated in the heart of East London. Wilton’s is one of the few remaining music halls in London making it a truly unique venue for you to host your wedding. I absolutely adore the faded grandeur of the place and the fact that it is cavernous but somehow always feels intimate.

Wilton’s is bursting with opportunities for wedding photos. Whether it be on stage, the balcony, or on the gorgeous Victorian staircase or even outside in Graces’ Alley there are plenty of locations for us to create some awesome photos.

I adore shooting at Wilton’s and would love to be your photographer of choice if you are considering it as your venue. Drop me a line if you like the look of me and my work.

ABOUT ME

Home consists of my husband, Dave, and our two children, Rocco and Tomasina. My stepson is currently travelling as much as he can and my stepdaughter is studying Fine Art at Slade in London. Oh to have my art school days back! I met my husband at work initially in a boring old Health and Safety meeting – groan!  We got married in 2012 at The Electric Cinema in Brum a week before Christmas.

I photographed my first ever wedding in 2007 and have now shot almost 200 weddings. I love my job for the creative outlet it gives me and the fabulous people I meet.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer I’d love to hear from you so please drop me a line via my contact page.
